Love and Long, L.L.P. provided representation to WHGA Lenox Housing Associates, L.P., the developer of the Lenox Hills Apartments Development. The Lenox Hills Apartments Development is a $9.2 million mixed-use development comprised of 60 residential units along with commercial uses. The project has qualified as an affordable housing project pursuant to Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code, and its investors are eligible to receive tax credits.
Our firm provided representation to the developer in all phases of the project including the tax credit eligibility determination, construction financing, acquisition and permanent financing. The project is located in West Harlem, New York and serves as an example of the economic development occurring within the Harlem Community.
