Love and Long, L.L.P. provided representation to WHGA Renaissance Limited Partnership who is the developer of the Renaissance Apartments Project. The Renaissance Apartments Project is a $16.2 million mixed use development comprised of 62 residential units along with commercial uses.
The project has qualified as an affordable housing project pursuant to Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code, and its investors are eligible to receive tax credits. Our firm provided representation to the developer in all phases of the project including the tax credit eligibility determination, construction financing and permanent financing. The project is located in West Harlem, New York and serves as an example of the economic development occurring within the Harlem Community.
