Legal Practice: Lisa is a corporate and complex commercial transactions attorney with over 35 years of experience representing Fortune 500 companies, middle market companies and public entities in various sophisticated commercial transactions, involving infrastructure and project development, construction, technology transfers, mergers and acquisitions, licensing and intellectual property, franchising, public and corporate finance, commercial transactions, real estate and land use, corporate, energy, maritime, corporate governance, international joint ventures, ethics, manufacturing and purchasing. Previously, under Ms. Love’s direction, Love and Long has represented the U.S. Department of Transportation, the U.S. Department of Treasury, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Commodities Future Trading Commission and the National Institutes of Health. Currently, Ms. Love is spearheading Love and Long’s representation of a major port authority in upgrades to its airport facilities and a state agency in its expansion of its offshore wind power capabilities.
Having represented parties on all sides of complex transactions, Lisa uses her experience as a commercial transactions attorney to provide perspective and inform her decision making as an arbitrator and her conciliatory efforts as a mediator.
Arbitration Experience: Lisa has served as a panel member or sole arbitrator in over 30 complex domestic and international commercial arbitrations. She has also participated in over 100 mediations as a party representative and in numerous mediations as a mediator. Lisa has served in ADR matters involving mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, corporate governance, corporate organization, securities, private placements, collateralized repurchases, investment banking, real estate and development, joint ventures, consulting, breach of contracts, legal malpractice, international and domestic franchise, securities transactions, foreign investments in U.S. based business, broker-dealers, baseball arbitration, attorney malpractice, and business finance transactions, including secured and unsecured lending, factoring and credit protection transactions.

Prior Relevant Experience:
Ms. Love was employed by a Madison Avenue, New York law firm employing 250+ attorneys, formerly known as Rosenman & Colin, where she gained extensive experience for over eleven years in the Corporate Department with an emphasis project development, corporate finance, syndicated loan facilities, equity financing, bond finance, DIP financing, mergers and acquisitions and acquisition financing. Ms. Love has represented the Resolution Trust Company in real estate roll-up and syndication transactions. In addition, she has served as chief legal counsel to several public entities and has extensive experience managing both internal and outside counsel. Ms. Love is a former Adjunct Professor in the Legal Studies Department of Montclair State University.
